Director Scientific Communications - Permanent - Boston, MA

��߲�ӰԺ is seeking a Director of Scientific Communications for Neurology.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will Take charge of crafting and implementing worldwide communication strategies and publication plans that are in sync with our neurology brand and corporate goals. You will also manage external medical education initiatives and chair the Global Publications Team for our neurology products. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams and building strong relationships with external investigators and thought leaders.

Skills & Requirements:

PhD, PharmD, or MD with experience in pharma or medical communications.
7-10+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company or Medical Communications agency, or at least 15 years of independent Scientific Communications / Publications consultancies for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Expertise in interpreting and organizing complex scientific data.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Knowledge of good publication practices and compliance.
Experience in rare diseases or peer-to-peer engagement is preferred.

The Director Scientific Communications's responsibilities will be:

Develop and lead global publication strategies for neurology therapeutic areas.
Chair the Global Publications Team and ensure timely delivery of high-quality scientific materials.
Plan and implement external medical education initiatives, including congress symposia.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., clinical, biostats) and external thought leaders.
Review and ensure scientific accuracy in publications and other communications.
Manage relationships with medical communications agencies and consultants.
