Vice President of Biometrics - Permanent - Cambridge, MA

º¬Ðß²ÝÓ°Ôº is seeking a proven and successful leader as a Vice President of Biometrics to have full autonomy in leading the Biometrics department for a truly exciting Rare Disease Biotech.

Primary Responsibilities:

The past 6 months have been the most exciting period in the company's history with multiple positive data read outs partnered with strong and stable funding, that has set them up for a potential truly groundbreaking upcoming years.

The business have developed an outstanding culture throughout the senior leadership group and their teams being fully invested into their pipeline and making an impact on the patient population. With that in mind, they would be searching for someone with these values of being driven by science and innovation as well as making an impact on rare and prominent diseases globally.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Biostatistics/Statistics and 15 years of
    biotech/pharmaceutical experience
  • Proven track record of BLA/NDA experience
  • Proven experience in a department leadership role in Biostatistics or Biometrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Vice President of Biometric's responsibilities will be:

  • Provide expertise and guidance throughout the full clinical development lifecycle as Biostatistics SME
  • Have full freedom to lead the Biometrics organization by internal development or our current team and via external growth
  • Ensure the department meets company goals and objectives as well as keeping in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Represent the company in meetings with regulatory agencies
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative statistical methodology in support of R&D
  • Maintain up to date understanding of regulatory guidance and requirements
  • Ensure successful study designs and development plans that incorporate forward-thinking statistical strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members, senior and executive management, key opinion leaders and regulatory authorities

Compensation:

  • $385,000 to $400,000 per annum
